The European Rural Parliament is a process, based around a 2-year cycle. The climax of this cycle is the biennial gathering, the rural parliament. Between Gatherings the partners work to gather and share information and ideas relating to the important issues for their rural areas. The results of this work are brought to each gathering, discussed, debated and used to update the European Rural Manifesto and to agree the Declaration and proposals for future work and advocacy.
