The 2018 Scottish Rural Parliament will take place from 14-16 November in Stranraer, in south west Scotland.
The 2018 Scottish Rural Parliament comes at a critical time, when the future of rural Scotland is in the spotlight as never before. Brexit has far-reaching implications for our rural communities, who are keen to maintain strong links with Europe, and so far there is little concrete information about what the future holds. Part of the Programme will be the ERP project on Brexit, which is co-ordinated by ACRE, and involves the ERP Partners in the UK and Ireland.
The Rural Parliament is an opportunity for rural communities to influence policy post-Brexit and we would welcome you to join us. The draft programme and international guest booking information is attached.
